Peter Maier, Master Realist

The fine art community traditionally dismissed the airbrush as a

commercial art instrument. Peter Maier’s airbrush revved through that

canvas ceiling with motorcycle and automobile art eminently eligible

for fine art status. "They don’t believe it’s a painting. They think

it’s a photograph, at first," says Peter. "When they cannot tell how

it was done, that’s when you’ve elevated your work to the fine art
